Naples, Florida - Winter 2015
We go to Florida most years so there isn't much reason left to take pictures. This year we did two things that we thought should get a little coverage though.
Naples Zoo - We looked through Trip Advsior to find things that we might do to break up the time in Naples and kept bumping into the Zoo. Given a rating of 4.5 and a ranking of 14 out of 117 things to do in Naples, it seemed like a reasonable choice. Like I said in the review we completed:
"We enjoyed walking through the zoo and checking out the plants and animals. This is probably the smallest zoo we have visited and it doesn't compare to the big zoos in the world but it is well done. If you are looking a for an activity in Naples to spend 2 or 3 hours and you are interested in animals and vegetation, you should check it out. It is quite clean and everyone is friendly and helpful."
Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary - We'd never been here but kept hearing it was nice. Trip Advisor gives this one a 5 and it's ranked number 2 overall. We thought it would be a nice way to practice using the new camera on birds and wildlife, in preparation for our upcoming visit to Costa Rica. I didn't bother rating it on Trip Advisor as it had so many existing entries that I couldn't add anything of value.
