Texas, October 28 - November 10, 2013

Our Fall trip this year was to Texas. We enjoyed Austin and San Antonio when we had been there nearly 10 years ago, so it seemed like a good place to visit again. It was fairly wet in Austin so we couldn't do as much as we wanted. But we toured around, enjoyed some restaurants and saw the sites at the same time as we squeezed in some soggy golf.

In San Antonio we rented a neat upper apartment unit we found on VRBO. We really enjoyed it there as there was lots of room and the owner (Randy Jones) had created a garden which he encouraged us to take fresh vegetables from. We ate really well. Love that Central Market!

We also golfed in San Antonio, walked on the Riverwalk, ate in several restaurants and visited the San José Mission. All very enjoyable.
