Waimea Canyon

These pictures were taken on a day trip up the Waimea Canyon Drive, after Pat and Leslie left. The canyon is striking and has a feel of the Grand Canyon although it is not as large. It was quite surprising to discover a major canyon on a relatively small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! The day was a little hazy and there was a light rain in places, so once again the shots are not as clear as I would have liked.
