The Dunes at Maui Lani - 9/3/2001 & 9/8/2001

This is a links style course with somewhat narrow landing areas. Two or three holes are quite tight, but others are more forgiving. There are lots of elevated tees and greens, and a suitable amount of difficulty. The distance from the whites was only 5833, but the winds and landing areas caused a slope of 121. Course knowledge really helps here ... the scores were better the second time we played it. I really liked this course--it's a reasonable price/performer by Maui standards, at $80.
