Juneau

Juneau too had rain, although there were some clear breaks that gave us a chance to see its natural beauty. It is set into the side of more beautiful mountains ... the first shot below gives you a good feel for it. The town had a very colourful, vibrant feeling. The shots of the Red Dog Saloon below are evidence of the vitality.

The Mendenhall Glacier was awesome. Pictures can't do justice to the colours and scenery we saw. The ice seemed to flow into the bay as it worked its way down from the mountains. We also visited a salmon hatchery on the way back from the glacier, but seeing dying fish didn't really inspire us to take any pictures!
