GUIDE Spring Reunion - March, 2006

Charleston in spring was the destination for this year's GUIDE Reunion. And it was really great to see the gang again.

HQ was the Charleston Riverview hotel which turned out to be under construction. (No wonder the rates were so great. Good negotiating, Wynn!) We start off with a shot of the entrance so you can see the construction in the background. Most of us wondered if we were in the right place when we drove in. Following that are pictures from SCIDS, then A.W. Shucks on Friday night, Poogan's on Saturday, and a few shots from our wanderings in downtown Charleston. Some of those buildings are quite remarkable.

A great time was had by all ('though the technical sessions were a little weak). Next time, we're thinking mid-March 2008 in Raleigh ... easier to get to and always a town with a lot of captive GUIDE attendees. And yes, we'll avoid the Share dates next time!
