Melbourne - January 11 to January 18, 2012

We had a layover in New Zealand on the way to Melbourne, and spent several hours waiting to connect. (A bit of a come down after travelling business class from Toronto to Hawaii.) The New Zealand airport was very nice though.

I did the camera settings incorrectly on my first day of shooting in Melbourne, so little turned out. Fortunately the indoor shots from the arcades worked so we do have a few things captured.

The other reason for the limited number of Melbourne shots is that Sharon broke her ankle in Healesville Sanctuary and we spent a significant amount of time at the Box Hill Hospital and then locating the things we would need to survive the rest of the trip (like a walker). But fortunately the hospital did a good job and the physio wrapped her up for travel so we could continue our journey.
